During my first surgery, they used septal cartilage, but it became deviated, so they said that to correct the deviated septum, they need to reinforce it with firm autologous costal cartilage. But they say they’ll use autologous costal cartilage not only for the septum but also for the nasal tip. Then, since my skin is already thin, wouldn’t using autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip make it show through more and make it look thinner? Also, they said that because my skin is thin, silicone would show through, so they’ll operate using autologous costal cartilage particles. But it still seems like a method without many reviews, and I’ve also heard that it can become bumpy or get absorbed, so I’m worried. If it’s done with autologous costal cartilage particles, will it not show through even if the skin is thin…? Is there anyone with a similar case? Please help… you’ll be blessed
