My breasts weren’t asymmetrical, so I had Mentor Extra 375 cc implants placed equally on both sides and also had accessory breast tissue removal done by the director at the clinic. But over time, I could see that the inframammary folds were no longer matching and they were becoming uneven. I held it in as long as I could, then went in for a follow-up and brought it up first. They said it would be simple and they just needed to lower it. They said an inframammary fold incision would be simple, but since I had originally had a transaxillary incision, they would definitely do it through the armpit again. They said it would be over once I had the surgery, so I waited until 6 months after my first surgery. Since it was revision surgery, I was admitted the same day and even had drainage bags. But about 4 weeks after the revision surgery, I could clearly see another difference again. Until right before that, I had definitely thought, “Wow, now they really match, they’re not uneven,” but after that they changed right away. This time, the side where the inframammary fold was lowered (the side that had been higher in the first surgery) had come down more.. I was going out of my mind. When I went for a follow-up and said this, the director said that, from their perspective, there was nothing abnormal. They said this much was due to a difference in bone position? Excuse me??? This is?? I was the one who first asked if it could be corrected with underwear (because when I searched, I saw that there are cases like that). They said it was possible to some extent. But looking at it now, 3-4 months later, it was a meaningless thing to do.. And if I tense my chest and bend my body to look in the mirror, the difference is definitely even greater. The implant positions themselves are different, and just everything is different, f*** f***. Second, by my standards, the transaxillary scar on the right side is darker too.. Anyway, I felt like communication wouldn’t work any further, and I didn’t want to have surgery at this hospital again. So I just said, “Ah, yes, yes,” and left. I’m going to redo it at another hospital. I wrote this as a review on my blog, but people don’t seem to know much about it, and I’m writing this because I want people to know that cases like this can happen too. After I wrote it on my blog, people like me appeared in the comments. Everyone had the same hospital and same director. I wonder what the problem is.... Anyway, please be careful. But there are also people who did well with the same hospital and same director, so.. case by case?
