Before<before removal>After<after>After having nose surgery 4 times so far... I was so sick and tired of it, and I felt like there would be no end if I kept getting revision surgery because I wasn’t happy with my nose, so for my 5th surgery, I chose complete nasal implant removal. The more surgeries I had, the prettier it looked only briefly for a few months or a few years, but as time passed, it just kept getting sharper and more pointed, like a witch’s nose. The skin on my nose also became so thin that the silicone showed very obviously, like chalk.
<My last surgery was done with autologous costal cartilage and silicone, and after removing the entire autologous costal cartilage columellar strut and nasal bridge silicone, I had cartilage repositioning.>
After the nasal removal surgery, maybe because of scar tissue, for a while my nose looked more upturned and felt very tight and swollen. I think that was the contraction phase. The contraction-phase feeling wasn’t too severe, and I felt tightness and swelling in the morning and at night. After that, I didn’t feel much discomfort and just lived without thinking about it.
Now that 4 months have passed, compared with before, my nasal tip has become rounder~ and the feeling that it looks upturned has decreased a lot. They told me to do downward taping for a month, so maybe because I worked hard at it, the nasal tip gradually didn’t lift more and seems to have settled naturally. While looking up removal surgery here and there, I worried a lot about things like, what if my nose becomes more upturned from just removing everything, what if my nose collapses, what if my nose looks strange and spreads out, and so on... But looking back now, haha. Haha^^
Honestly, I didn’t have the surgery with the determination that I absolutely had to go back to my original nose! Since I lived with a surgically altered nose for so long, I don’t really remember my original nose well haha.. I just think this current nose shape must be my original nose.. haha People around me also don’t really notice that I had anything done to my nose^^ haha Since there’s nothing in my nose now, I feel relieved and refreshed.
