Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-review

I had dramatic eye and nose surgery at a clinic, and my image changed completely lol

★★ First surgery: buried-incision double eyelid + medial epicanthoplasty (back then I only had double eyelid surgery) done at another clinic At this clinic ★★ Eye revision surgery: eyes - natural adhesion double eyelid + medial epicanthoplasty + ptosis correction (non-incisional) + upper epicanthoplasty ★★ First nose surgery - septal extension + cartilage repositioning + cartilage suturing + autologous costal cartilage used

-When researching online and visiting clinics- My eyes were a revision surgery, and my nose was my first surgery this time at this clinic. When I change my profile photo on Insta or KakaoTalk, everyone keeps saying they would not recognize me and that the surgery turned out really well.... lol But my first surgery had honestly gone terribly wrong, so while looking into revision surgery, I was really stressed and wondered a lot by myself whether I should even do it. During that time, I researched and visited almost more than 15 clinics, and there were many places I felt disappointed with after going in person. There were also many places where I just thought, this place is not a good fit for me, and left it at that. When I got my first double eyelid surgery, basically everyone gets double eyelid surgery + medial epicanthoplasty together like a pair, so I did that too. After surgery, the swelling went down really slowly;; My eyes gradually became uneven, and even though I had medial epicanthoplasty, they still looked stuffy, which stressed me out the most. Also, my nose was low and had no dimension, so it looked even worse from the side lol Even to me, my features looked really flat and my impression looked sharp, so while planning to do my eyes and nose together, I looked for a place that was good at a dramatic style + matching things to what I wanted.

-Consultation- To share only the consultation review for the place where I had surgery, here, the directors who specialize in eyes and nose are different, so during one consultation, I had to talk with two directors. So including waiting + consultation time, it took more than 1 hour and 30 minutes. For eyes, I consulted with Director Kim Tae-hoon. Thankfully, even though the line had to be reset, he said it was possible with natural adhesion, and the director first said that opening the medial epicanthus more could change my eyes into the dramatic and sophisticated feeling I wanted. And because my eye-opening strength was weak, ptosis correction was also essential.. I was a little worried about that, but since it would be non-incisional ptosis correction, I thought it would at least be better. Most of all, the line the director marked for me had the classic semi-out look I had in mind, so I really liked it. For nose surgery, I consulted with the chief director, Director Oh Seung-il. I told him that I wanted both my eyes and nose designed dramatically, but that overall I wanted the surgery done harmoniously. I had also had nose filler in the past, so we decided to dissolve the filler and insert silicone. While looking at the CT scan together with the director, he also checked the size of my septum. Because my septum was small, autologous costal cartilage was also used together with septal extension!! For the nasal tip, I had cartilage suturing! I also liked that he designed it while taking my eye revision surgery into consideration. He showed me the nose shape with virtual simulation, and he kept adjusting the nose shape to match the feeling I wanted, not just once or twice but really nearly five times, so I was so grateful ㅠㅠ The director spoke firmly and realistically. Instead of places that say everything is possible no matter what, if anyone here is curious about what surgery would truly suit them, definitely go for a consultation. I learned a lot while listening to the explanation too.

-After eye and nose surgery- It did not hurt as much as I thought, but my eye area felt heavier than my nose, so it was uncomfortable because I opened my eyes in a half-closed way. Still, during the day I walked around here and there and stayed active, so it was okay, but before sleeping, it felt really stuffy. The reason I did my eyes and nose together was that I thought if I had them done at once, the recovery period would be shorter, and I could have the surgery while considering the proportions of my facial features. But this was the first time I regretted it. When sleeping, I kept tossing and turning, and for 2-3 days I worried a lot because of the swelling. Then after receiving treatment at the clinic and as the swelling gradually went down, my mind changed from regretting it to thinking I was glad I did my eyes and nose together lolololol This time, the revision medial epicanthoplasty opened the eyes refreshingly, but the lacrimal caruncle does not show, and the line was set neatly as a semi-out line. For my nose, I wanted a straight line, and both the bridge and tip settled into a natural-looking shape. You know how I did virtual simulation of the nose shape during the consultation? To me, the surgical result also seems to have come out close to the design we tried with the virtual simulation. After surgery, I am satisfied because I became the dramatic cat-like look I had been aiming for. I originally like wearing heavy makeup, but even when I look bare-faced, my eye and nose features show clearly, so my features look defined. My eye-opening strength also improved a lot, so now even when I wear contacts, my eyes do not get tired lol
