Nose Surgery Reviews

Update on my nose that used to look upturned

From my first consultation through the day of surgery, what I requested was = to make my nose look smaller overall (+ lowering the columella too) When they were planning the design, they made predicted post-op photos for me, so I thought it would quickly become like that, but looking at it now, that predicted look gradually settles in over time. Right now, it honestly seems like they reduced the width just the right amount. In the beginning, because of swelling, I couldn’t tell and seriously regretted not asking them to make it even narrower.

People I know also say that the current nose matches my facial proportions. Before, the columella area was short, so my nose looked upturned, which is why I looked into improving the frontal view and went in for surgery. Maybe because I was exactly the kind of case that responds well, I feel like I got a big effect.. Since they used autologous costal cartilage, they keep telling me to come in so they can check my progress because of some warranty system, but honestly it’s annoying, so I skipped it a few times.. I should go.. I’m almost at 6 months now, but even if I go, what would they do...; I don’t really feel the need to go right now.. If it becomes necessary, I’ll go on my own;;
