After non-incisional double eyelid surgery, I applied ice packs frequently (over a towel), and the swelling went down a lot within a few weeks. The swelling did go down somewhat, but now, 5 years later, it has just become an inner double eyelid completely..!! I definitely think ice packs/pumpkin juice are good for reducing swelling. Also, I suddenly remembered that with wisdom teeth too, there’s a difference between icing all day and not icing. It’s just good to make sure you do cold compresses no matter what.
