I’m posting a review of the consultation I had at Dite. I had wanted to get breast surgery for quite a long time, but I didn’t have enough time and I was also scared. I had only vaguely thought, “I’ll do it someday,” but this time the timing worked out perfectly, so I went around to five hospitals for consultations. My criteria were that it should not feel like a factory-style clinic, and that it should be as safe and trustworthy as possible. Among the hospitals I consulted with, three felt typically factory-like (at least a 1-hour wait, hard to see the director, a clinic that handles everything from eyes, nose, mouth, and skin, etc.). Of the two hospitals I liked, I chose Dite and made a reservation because it specializes in breast augmentation, the consultant provided thorough one-on-one care, recovery seemed possible quickly, and they gave reasonable recommendations suited to my body type. Since my time was limited, I tried to consider it carefully in my own way so I wouldn’t make an impulsive choice, so I’m nervous but looking forward to it.
