Review of a highly successful second revision medial canthoplasty restoration at Secret Plastic Surgery

This is a review of my second revision medial canthoplasty restoration at Secret Plastic Surgery. I’m exactly on day 10 now, and today I had all the stitches removed.<Collage photo: before on top, after on bottom>Why I chose Secret - While visiting clinics for consultations, I saw review photos of medial canthoplasty restoration done at Secret, and looking at the surgical results, it seemed like they created a natural-looking epicanthal fold, like the person’s original eyes, so I decided on Secret. (After two failed restorations elsewhere, I realized how precious the epicanthal fold is. Without an epicanthal fold, the eye shape looks unnatural.)*I think medial canthoplasty restoration is not simply about widening the distance between the eyes and just covering the lacrimal lake; for it to be a perfect surgery, the epicanthal fold has to be created naturally, and the under-eye aegyo-sal also has to be restored.I think scarring is unavoidable in medial canthoplasty restoration surgery. Before coming to Secret, I had the procedure done at a clinic that advertised medial canthoplasty restoration extremely heavily, but far from improving the scars, even the shape became asymmetric and opened up, and there was absolutely no aftercare. For 2 years, I lived with asymmetry, with one side looking like a toad and the other side like a Pacific Ocean lacrimal lake, but Director Song Seung-wook restored it to almost 99.9% similar to my original eye. During the consultation, he told me that scar improvement might be difficult, but I was more desperate to improve the shape, so I’m satisfied. Director Song said scar improvement would be difficult, but even the scars that bothered me disappeared too, so I’m very satisfied.Originally, I was going to do only one side and leave the other eye as it was, but I’m so satisfied with the surgical result that I plan to have the remaining side restored at Secret 6 months later!If you visit clinics for medial canthoplasty restoration consultations, you’ll know this, but I personally think the reverse skin-repositioning technique makes the eye shape look much more natural than the V-Y technique. I don’t know if it’s because my V-Y result opened up and left me with a lot of scars, but even when it hadn’t opened up, the inner corner of the eye itself felt unnatural and made my eyes look blank, so I personally don’t recommend it.I’m so satisfied that from the day of surgery until now, for 10 days, I’ve been looking in the mirror all dayㅜ They took such good care of me afterward too that I feel like I got all the buttock injections I’ll ever get in my life at Secret.. One-line summary: Director Song Seung-wook is really good at medial canthoplasty restoration / Don’t get fooled by app ads like I did and end up needing revision and then second revision restoration; do your first restoration at Secret, and I hope everyone no longer has stress from medial canthoplasty restoration
