Ever since I was little, my mom and dad both had double eyelids but I didn’t, so we used to joke around saying, “Did they pick me up somewhere?” lol My mom said she didn’t have them when she was young either, but they appeared as she grew up, so I just lived with it too But I had no idea when they would appear, and it was hard living every day using double eyelid glue/tape So in the end I got double eyelid surgery Honestly, there was no guarantee they would ever appear I just thought it would be better to get double eyelid surgery and feel relieved All my friends around me had already gotten double eyelid surgery, looked natural now, and found their own style I felt like I was the only one late, so I got kind of impatient and went to consultations like crazy I went to places that had been recommended as good, but the waiting process was complicated and somehow they didn’t feel right for me But when I went to the place I had found myself, I thought, “This is it,” you know? The doctor also pursued a natural look And it felt like the style matched me well, so I had surgery right away haha Thanks to that, people around me now keep asking me where I got it done lol It’s to the point that it’s annoying
