My husband’s eyes were really, really small. Well, they looked fine to me.. but to other people, they were very small and sharp-looking, so I could tell he was subtly self-conscious about them. After discussing it together, we decided on double eyelid surgery, and I looked into hospitals known for men’s eye surgery. I figured it would probably be better for me to research it;; We went to consultations at 3 places, and had the surgery done at the hospital that examined him in the most detail. He got an inner double eyelid ptosis correction and lateral canthoplasty, and the line came out thin but very natural. What was really surprising was that even right after surgery, there wasn’t much swelling, and there was almost no bruising. It’s been a little under a month, and I thought the swelling had almost all gone down, but they said about 80% had gone down.. haha I think it’ll look even better once the rest of the swelling is gone. Just because the line is thin doesn’t mean there’s no change in eye size; the before-and-after difference is definitely big, and his eyes look softer and bigger, so my husband is really satisfied too.
