I went there because I liked the review photos. I wanted improvement for a large nose, a nose that looked long, a hump, drooping nasal tip, and bulbous nose. They said they would use septal cartilage + ear cartilage for the nasal tip, and that they would only know for sure after opening it up. They said alar base reduction was not necessary, and that cartilage tying is something they basically do by default. They said fat removal was unnecessary, and that it would be done without silicone, using no implant. They also recommended lateral osteotomy, but when I said I did not want it, they said it was not absolutely necessary. They said the columella normally becomes flatter when the nasal tip is raised, and that it is adjusted with the septum. They said the nasolabial angle rises along with the nasal tip when the tip is lifted, but if the nasolabial angle rises too much, it is not good because the nasal tip can come down due to lip movement. The doctor was kind and explained everything I asked as much as possible, so I really liked the consultation.

Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-reviewJan 30 Would it be okay to just do alar reduction and the nasal tip?
