Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

1 Percent Plastic Surgery Clinic Review

For facial contouring, Dr. ㄱㄱㅎ seemed like he was trying to teach me…? That kind of thing felt a bit unpleasant. He said things like, “Do you understand what this is?” and “Then what do you think this is?” so it wasn’t exactly a pleasant, enjoyable consultation. But he did point out surgeries that seemed unnecessary, so I thought it would be okay in terms of saving costs.

For the eyes, I had a consultation because I wanted ptosis correction + double eyelids + medial, lateral, and lower canthoplasty. I liked that he firmly told me not to do lower canthoplasty.

For the nose… he clearly explained what couldn’t be done and the limitations, and seemed to help find the direction I was aiming for together.

However, I’m not sure if it’s because of the hospital’s turnover rate, but if you don’t prepare a list of questions, all the doctors just roughly decide on the surgical method and line, then the consultation ends. So it felt disappointing because I couldn’t get as much information as I had expected.

The consultant tried to dig out the quotes I received from other hospitals I consulted at, and there was some pressure to pay a reservation deposit. The price is expensive. It seems like a mid-sized hospital with about 4 doctors, but the price is on the level of a single-doctor clinic haha
