14 years ago, I had my first surgery with silicone + septal cartilage. At the time, I was fairly satisfied, but as time passed, I started noticing more and more areas I felt were lacking. Especially my nostrils showed too much, which bothered me the most, and I kept thinking that I wished my nasal tip were a bit smaller, so I eventually decided on revision surgery. During the consultation, I honestly told the director everything I was dissatisfied with. I said I wanted to improve how much my nostrils showed and reduce the size of my nasal tip. After carefully examining the condition of my nose, the director said that lowering the columella and shaping the nasal tip could improve it enough, so I went ahead with the surgery right away. After the surgery, once the swelling went down, I could really clearly see the difference! When viewed from the front, my nostrils no longer show as obviously as before, which I love, and my nasal tip also came out much smaller and more refined than before. The side profile line looks natural too, and overall, my nose shape feels more organized. It was my first revision surgery in 14 years, and I’m so satisfied that I wonder if I should have done it sooner. Having visible nostrils used to be a complex for me, but after surgery, it definitely bothers me less, and I feel like my self-esteem has gone up too.
