Mint Thread Lifting Review

I'm a 46-year-old woman who had 9 Mint lifting threads on each side (V-line, nasolabial folds), 18 threads total, and was really worried because the swelling made my face look wide and flat. My skin isn't on the thin side, and as for cosmetic procedures, I had Shurink once two months ago, and this Mint thread lifting was my second procedure. ...I heard a side effect can be cheekbone-area widening and a flatfish-like look (my swelling was like that too; my face is originally slim, but it swelled like a square jaw and got wider, so I was worried it wouldn't go back), so I was really worried. (Plus, the doctor said swelling would last one month to a month and a half, and that the effect would come after that.) I'm now at week 2... for now, my skin feels firmer, and I already feel like the line has lifted. I'm back to how I looked before. Below the cheekbones, I had slight hollowing in the cheeks too, but maybe that's part of the V-line forming; it's not to an unattractive degree, and my nasolabial folds are less noticeable too.. My husband said the technique was good. At home, I used a home LED radiofrequency massager a little in the evening for about 5 minutes, and I also very lightly did the gua sha acupressure I normally do. Maybe because of that? Right now I'm very satisfied.

The consultant told me to do it once a year (they said the maintenance period is 1 year), but I'm scared that side effects that aren't exactly side effects might come again, and I'm also scared the effect might drop off. After 1 year, I really don't know what to do about wrinkles. ㅠ I'm really torn.
