I had chin advancement surgery 2 years ago. I remember that the advancement was fewer mm than the usual amount. At the time, I chose this clinic because the first consultation with the doctor was long enough to last 30 to 40 minutes, the pricing was fixed, and our direction was similar. (The direction was that it had to look natural, I absolutely did not want a witch’s chin, and I only wanted to improve small flaws in my face.) The doctor gave me blunt facts about my face and said that only a small advancement was possible, and that although a typical oval face would require no square jaw, it would be better to preserve my square jaw as much as possible. That made me trust them a bit more. Out of the 5 clinics I visited in total, I chose this one because it recommended the smallest number of millimeters (one clinic told me to do a second advancement). I’m very satisfied with the result, and because the advancement was only a small number of millimeters, there is no witch’s chin, so I’m satisfied. What I’m really relieved about is that I heard some people get food stuck under their teeth because of scar tissue, but thankfully I don’t. It seems like they cut it cleanly. People around me asked a few times whether I had lifting done, and that was it. It doesn’t show.
The consultant was also kind, and they checked on me really well afterward through KakaoTalk too. During the first consultation, they told me the pins would be fine even if used for decades, but I thought that meant I had to live with them for life without removing them, like orthodontic wires, so I thought there was no “pin removal” option. This was information I hadn’t looked into properly myself, so it’s not the consultant’s fault.. just a very slight regret. For the price, they said the advancement amount in mm was very small, so they excluded the deep cheek fat removal price and only charged the advancement surgery price. It was 2-3 years ago, so my memory is hazy and I don’t know the exact price ㅜㅠㅡ I could be wrong.. I think it was 3.5-4 million won.
