After a consultation for non-incisional lateral canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty, I booked the surgery, and on the day of surgery, after one more consultation for about 5 minutes, I went into surgery. I did it under local anesthesia instead of sedation, so the price only had an added 50,000 won. During the consultation, I wasn’t very satisfied with the consultant, but the doctor seriously said they would try to do as much as possible within the feasible range and understood my needs to some extent, so the surgery was carried out according to those needs. They said my original eyes were asymmetrical, so only one side was heavily overcorrected, and the surgery ended quickly, in around 20 minutes. What set it apart from other hospitals was that they played music I like and put the photo I brought on the operating room screen, which made me feel like they were paying attention to the patient. After the surgery ended, the consultant who had been kind suddenly became unfriendly, so I was taken aback;; Even though the surgery was non-incisional, it’s not that it’s as unnoticeable as I had worried, and the overcorrected area is scary. Because it’s non-incisional, saying that lenses/makeup and daily life are possible immediately is ridiculous, and the bruising is still severely yellow even after a week. Amazingly, my eye size got bigger immediately, so I’m satisfied. I think it would be good if only the overcorrected side settles a bit more evenly.
