Hello, it has now been 6 months since I had surgery on my square jaw and cheekbones~ First of all, I only looked into one place, Yungwakui Jeongseok, and after the consultation, I immediately scheduled my surgery date. The reason I chose this place was that the doctor had come out and opened an independent clinic, and I guess I just felt I could trust them..? People say choosing the hospital and the director is the most important, but when I looked at consultation reviews, they all seemed to say similar things, so I felt it would be a waste of time. Also, I’m the type to go with the place that I feel drawn to, so choosing the hospital wasn’t difficult. First, I liked that the consultation was concise and clear. I had the consultation first with the consultant and then with the director, and since I had written down my questions in advance, I was able to quickly get only the information I wanted to know. And regarding the swelling, which I was most worried about, I really liked that the director explained it clearly. Personally, the recovery process after surgery was not very difficult for me! I was worried because there were many reviews saying general anesthesia was awful, but when I first woke up, I only had pain, and after they gave me painkillers, it really did not hurt at all. After being discharged on the day of surgery, I walked the 2-hour distance home! And for 3 days, I went to the hospital for aftercare, and other than walking 2 hours on the way home, I think I just kept sleeping. I did cold compresses for 3 days, then kept doing warm compresses afterward, and because I walked a lot, the major early swelling all went down within a week. And since you cannot eat properly, the swelling goes down quickly.. If you can walk a lot, I think you can plan for about 5 days of recovery and then work while wearing a mask! I went back to work from day 5, and if counting from the day of surgery, I think I wore a mask for about 2 weeks! (It is about the level of swelling after removing an impacted wisdom tooth.) Now, at 6 months, I am 100% satisfied. If I could go back, I feel like I would do it even sooner?! As I briefly mentioned during the consultation time before surgery, they shaped my jaw and cheekbones, and I have absolutely no regrets about it being insufficient or wanting to go back. And regarding sagging, which everyone worries about, many people say it can come quickly, but for me, I think it is still okay. Since some of the swelling went down, I have been using a facial compression band that I bought separately. I am also maintaining my weight, so I think it is okay! I hear a lot that my impression has become much softer, that I look younger, and that my face looks small, so I recommend it!!! And above all, the director explained things very thoroughly from the consultation to every visit for checkups, so I really liked that! Everyone is kind, and they reply quickly to inquiries every time, so I think you will be satisfied with that part too!!! I know everyone is probably deliberation about choosing a hospital, but I hope you make sure to go for a consultation!
