Hello~ I’m posting a review after I kept agonizing over double eyelid revision surgery, then saw the eyes of someone I know who had a revision and went for it right away!!
1. Choosing the hospital and consultation I had double eyelid surgery well over 10 years ago, and for the past few years I had been concerned because the double eyelid on my left side had come undone. Someone I know had also gotten double eyelid revision surgery for the same concern as me~ So after seeing their eyes after surgery, I thought it turned out well, so I asked them about this and that, and they recommended Director Lee Min-cheol at Grida Plastic Surgery!! They said he’s the master of meticulousness!! My eyelids were covered with thick fat, so the director recommended an in-out line rather than a semi-out line. I wanted a semi-out line, but he advised against it, saying that if I did that, I would end up with sausage eyes, so I trusted the director and left it to him. So we decided to proceed with ptosis correction + incisional double eyelid surgery + fat removal + revision surgery.
2. Recovery process and after With local anesthesia and sedation anesthesia, during the surgery Director Lee Min-cheol told me to open my eyes from time to time while carefully and delicately operating on my eyes!! After surgery, I rested a bit in a private recovery room without feeling too worn out, then confidently went home with my younger sibling, who was my guardian. And even as time passed after surgery, it didn’t hurt that much, which was surprising!! Plus, I didn’t bruise much either, so that was nice!! I also took the medication I got from the pharmacy and did cold and warm compresses diligently. People around me said walking was the most important, so I also walked consistently~ Now it’s exactly one month post-op, and the swelling still hasn’t fully gone down, so I even got swelling laser treatment thoroughly~ The director looked at me and said the swelling would gradually go down with time and that the surgery went well, so I feel at ease and am happily waiting for the swelling to go down~ Director Lee Min-cheol knew I wanted a semi-out line, and I can clearly see that he paid extra attention while doing the surgery, so I recommend him, highly recommend!!! And everyone at work who sees me says it turned out well and that I’ll look even prettier once the swelling goes down, so I think I made the right choice having it done at Grida Plastic Surgery!!
