I finally got all the stitches removed from my eye surgery and revision rhinoplasty at MB! It’s day 7, so there’s still quite a bit of swelling, but it’s going down faster than I expected, which is fascinating lol My friends also said the line will look pretty once the swelling goes down Do I already feel like it was a success? But from my point of view, the swelling in my left eye was going down much faster than the right. I was worried because there was some difference between the two sides, but when I asked the director, they said the speed at which swelling goes down differs for each person, and it’s common for the swelling in both eyes to subside unevenly, so I’m trying to relax about it lol And I was curious about how the line would look after removing the nasal splint, and the dorsal hump line I was worried about has been smoothed out really well I think it’ll look a little more natural once the swelling goes down, so I’m looking forward to that too. The last photo is one I took in the evening. Can you see how, even on the same day, the amount of swelling differs between morning and afternoon? If I exaggerate a bit, I feel like I look in the mirror 100 times a day, and every time, it’s fascinating that I can see the swelling changing with my own eyes lol I’ll have to take even better care of it so a lot of the major swelling can go down by the one-month mark haha
