Double Eyelid Surgery 2-Week Review

I had a consultation at a local clinic, and within just 3 minutes they recommended epicanthoplasty, ptosis correction, and incisional double eyelid surgery, which gave me a reality check because it felt like a factory-style clinic. Then, through a recommendation from someone I know, I went to Seoul for a consultation, and I was satisfied, so I had incisional double eyelid surgery with fat removal. It was a huge success. At first, I was a little worried because the outer corner of my right eye in particular looked lifted, but after the stitches were removed, when I opened my eyes with a lot of force, I was surprised because the left and right sides were symmetrical. Rather than doing it in a cookie-cutter, factory-style way, it felt like they tailored it properly to my eyes, and that was what I was most satisfied with. It’s true that I also tried hard to reduce swelling, but maybe because the surgery was done well, I really had almost no bruising or swelling. Since it was incisional surgery, the scar is still visible, but no one thinks I’m only 2 weeks post-op. I had my surgery with Director Lee Hee-young at Uni Plastic Surgery in Apgujeong.
