Before <before surgery> After <is this a few days after surgery?> After <this is my current condition!> First of all, I had my eyes and nose done too, not just facial contouring.. Honestly, among all the surgeries I’ve had.. I think the hardest one was ㅋㅋ facial contouring ㅋㅋ
Even before going into the operating room ㅠ I was shaking so much... For eyes and nose, well... they were revision surgeries ㅋㅋ maybe because I had experience ㅋㅋ I was okay. But with facial contouring, seriously, until the very end ㅋㅋ until I fell asleep ㅋㅋ I was scared.. Thankfully, the nurse stayed right next to me the whole time ㅠ... I think it really makes a difference whether or not someone like that is beside you..
After the contouring surgery, I stayed in the hospital for one day and had a checkup the next day.. Seriously, the night I spent hospitalized right after surgery was ㅋㅋ the longest night in the world... I was sleepy, but I definitely couldn’t sleep... I just kept blinking.. and then it was morning ㅋ; My lips were so dry ㅠ they got so parched... I don’t know how many times I called out to the staff there, “I’m thirsty...” ㅋㅋ Still, the recovery room staff wet some cotton with water and wiped my lips, and took good care of me ㅠ
After spending a few days at home.. the swelling on day 1, day 2, day 3, day 4.. just ㅋㅋ kept getting bigger without stopping... I clearly had surgery to make my facial line smaller~ facial contouring surgery ㅋㅋ but it felt like my face got even bigger, so I was pretty gloomy ㅠ
At 1 week.. from what I remember, I was still extremely swollen then too.. so I couldn’t tell the effect ㅋㅋ At least I was getting swelling care and things like that ㅋㅋ so it was kind of the time when my expectations started to grow a bit!?
At 2 weeks... that was definitely! when I could feel the difference~! The major swelling went down noticeably compared with week 1, so I was so relieved ㅠ I wondered when it would all go down.. but it felt worth diligently getting aftercare..ㅋ;
Now I’m at week 4, and the major swelling seems to be going down quickly. The problem is, I don’t know when all the minor swelling will completely disappear ㅋㅋ Still, compared with the beginning, I think I’m recovering without problems, and there isn’t much inconvenience in daily life, so now I’m in a human state ㅋ;
Minor swelling... please go down quickly. Everyone, if anyone here is looking into contouring, I think it’s best to be fully prepared for the war against swelling ㅋㅋ
