I had severe nevus of Ota since I was young, so I came up from the province. As expected from its reputation, I made a reservation, but waited more than two hours, applied anesthetic cream, and then waited more than another 30 minutes. The doctor doesn’t examine the face in extremely close detail, but it seems like they can tell what is possible and what isn’t just by looking. The procedure pain was intense, and they told me to keep DuoDERM on for about 10 days, but I think I removed it almost a day or two earlier. Still, it came off well without scarring, and the nevus of Ota has not recurred, so I’m living well. However, the dark spots inevitably recurred, so I plan to revisit soon. The reservation system really seems like it needs to be changed. Even with a reservation, the wait is too long.
