This is something I’m writing about because I had it done a long time ago. I was born in 1995, and I had it during winter break in 8th grade of middle school.. I remember there was one doctor then, and the clinic was really small.. I think it was on the second floor. But even back then there were a lot of surgery patients and consultation visitors, and it was hard to get an appointment. My parents had me get surgery because they saw me sleeping with eyelid tape on too
What I still remember from the consultation is that I said my eyes weren’t suitable for outer canthoplasty and that they were droopy, so I wanted to lift them, and they said then they’d have to cut the forehead to lift them They used a rod-like instrument to shape my eyes and just proceeded exactly as they had shaped them. I remember having surgery during the last slot and taking a taxi home. It was done under local anesthesia, so they checked the crease during the surgery and kept going. I remember crying because the anesthesia hurt, and because they removed fat, there was a smell like grilling squid. At the end, the anesthesia had worn off, but they said it would be over after just two or three stitches, so I endured it. The shape turned out naturally and well. The major swelling lasted about a month, and the minor swelling slowly went down for about a year. At the time I thought it had all gone down, but looking at photos now, the crease is very full. What I regret is that it was an in-fold, so it was too natural, and I wish I had made it more out-fold. But then again, when I look at old photos, I really was transformed, so I tell myself I should be satisfied with this.. At that time, my mom looked around everywhere and took me there because she said it was the best. The doctor looked like he was in his grandfather years, but I don’t know if he is still there now.. The people at the desk and the nurses didn’t really feel very kind to me.
