- I went for a consultation in mid-2019, and overall it was okay. It was around a quiet Thursday evening, so I’m not sure if that helped. The director came out personally to see me and said, objectively, that my eyes were asymmetrical and that I would probably need ptosis correction on one side. He gave me a fairly generous amount of time and seemed to listen to what I had to say. That said, he said it would be better to do both eyes, and that if only one side were done, the other side would also be affected... Other clinics also mentioned this one or two times, so I’m not sure if it’s true. He mentioned several times that he had only done eye surgeries for a long time, but there didn’t seem to be much difference from what you can see in his YouTube videos. Maybe because it was older, the clinic was a bit run down compared with the ones I’ve been to, and the staff were neither especially kind nor unkind, which was comfortable.
