Before surgery, I was always concerned that my eyes looked stuffy and sleepy. I wanted natural-looking double eyelids, so I avoided an overly dramatic line and had my consultation with that in mind. Right after surgery, there was swelling, but the bruising wasn’t as bad as I expected. As I recovered and the line gradually settled, my eyes started to look more defined. What I’m most satisfied with is that they look naturally refined with almost no left-right asymmetry. When I put on makeup, my eyes look much more lively, so doing my makeup has become easier. Now I feel comfortable even bare-faced, and I keep thinking I should have done it sooner.
