Review of facial contouring pin removal under sedation anesthesia

I had pin removal here under sedation anesthesia for my cheekbones, anterior cheekbones, and posterior cheekbones~~ I had 2 types, anterior cheekbones and posterior cheekbones, with pins in them. I had facial contouring done at another hospital and had the pins removed at this hospital! The reason I removed the pins was partly because I just didn’t like having foreign material in my cheekbones, and after 1 year and a half? the price goes up, you have to undergo general anesthesia, and it costs more, so since I was going to remove them anyway, I decided to remove them in advance~~ It also felt a bit concerning for later dental visits, and for Shurink and InMode treatments, so I just went ahead and removed them beforehand I could choose between sedation anesthesia and general anesthesia, so of course I had them removed under sedation anesthesia. (I think this part depends on how long it has been since facial contouring surgery I heard the maximum is 2 years~) For me, it had been around 1 year? since facial contouring, so it hadn’t been that long!~~ Before going into the operating room, I went in with one nurse, and she was so kind. She went with me to the operating room, covered me with a blanket because I was cold, and when the other nurses came into the operating room, they smiled a lot and kept talking to me, saying my hair was pretty and that I had a lot of hair, asking if I liked drinking and so on. It really felt like talking with close older sisters?! Out of all the places where I’ve had surgery so far, these nurses were the kindest! To the point where I thought it would be nice if every operating room had nurses like them even when having surgery elsewhere!! Thanks to them, I just kept laughing until anesthesia, and when I woke up, I was awake haha They ask a lot about pain, but honestly compared with facial contouring, it’s nothing.. Other than a slight throbbing? it didn’t hurt at all! Major swelling lasts 7 days and minor swelling lasts a month, but the minor swelling is just like a slightly swollen face? level~ On the day of surgery, I was discharged and had ramen and coffee on the way home haha I strongly recommend that anyone considering pin removal do it soon! Rather than being scared of having surgery twice right now, wouldn’t it be harder later to keep worrying your whole life because you can’t even remove them?
