Eye Surgery Reviews

It’s already been 4 months since my 3-part facial contouring and double eyelid surgery.

It’s been 4 months since I had 3-part facial contouring (cortical osteotomy, masseter reduction, buccal fat removal) and eye surgery (non-incisional double eyelid surgery, epicanthoplasty) at the clinic! Looking at my pre-op photos, from the front I had a soft, round impression and my cheekbones were quite prominent, and from the side or even with just a slight change in angle, my jawline looked blunt and my lower face looked heavy, giving me a somewhat androgynous look, so I was always bothered by it My eyes were the same. Even with makeup, there was a limit to how defined and glamorous they could look, so I really wanted to change my overall impression completely!

What I worried about most before surgery was the overall balance of my face..!!!! In other words, harmony was the most important thing, and I liked that the clinic suggested solutions for the front, side, and different angles rather than just blindly trying to make my face “look smaller.” During the consultation too, instead of pushing for excessive changes, they explained things based on the lines that would suit my current face best, so I chose them! I think that matched well with the look I was going for.

And now that I’m at 4 months, what I feel after the initial swelling has passed is that time really is the answer for facial contouring~~ Now my jawline is much more refined, and the feeling that my cheekbone line was protruding has almost disappeared. My lower face feels lighter compared to my formerly blunt-looking face, so my overall proportions look different My eyes have settled into a line that isn’t excessive, and now they look so natural that they feel like my original eyes!

In the beginning, I avoided hard-to-chew foods and mainly focused on swelling care with compresses and a facial compression band, and now I’m living my normal everyday life just fine ⸝⸝◜ㅇ◝⸝⸝ Even now, I personally feel like my jaw area is still gradually getting smaller little by little!! The thing I hear most from people around me is, “Did you lose weight?” I love that it doesn’t look like a doll-like, sharply cut-off result, and even though my weight is the same, people say I look prettier because I look like I lost weight, so I’m happy ㅎㅅㅎ..!

Another fascinating thing.. I think the biggest change after facial contouring and eye surgery is my attitude toward the camera! Before, I felt burdened and uncomfortable with photos or videos taken by other people, but now I barely have that stress!!! So through a good opportunity, I received an offer to work in broadcasting and ended up signing with an agency, and I’m also gradually doing some modeling work. I feel little by little that I’ve gained more confidence in myself!

Facial contouring surgery is definitely not something you can decide on lightly, but for people who have thought about it for a long time like I did, I think it can be a choice that truly changes your quality of life~~ 🤍🤍 I’ll upload the photos below in order!
