I had surgery at the clinic on the 27th, and I’ll share about the pain and swelling after surgery.Surgery details- Motiva Demi, 300/330, wide rib cage, expected post-op size full B to early C, dual plane, inframammary incision, accessory breast tissue removalRight after surgery- I was so sleepy. Half-asleep. I kept sleeping and waking up throughout recovery. - I guess you could divide it into before and after the compression bandage? As soon as I opened my eyes, it hurt like crazy. - Right after, I was wearing the compression bandage (the kind attached and detached with Velcro), and I understood what people mean when they say it feels like a dump truck hit your chest- Without someone’s help, I couldn’t move even this much- It felt like I could only breathe 50%?- When I was discharged, they removed the compression bandage, and after that the pain was cut in half. Breathing got a little easier and the pain became tolerable- When going home, tell your guardian to drive gently… if the road is bumpy, it hurts like crazy. After surgery at home - Rather than pain in the breasts themselves, the incision sites and the areas where the accessory breast tissue was removed hurt more- I ate, sat down, got up, and lay down all without anyone’s help.- But if I used my chest muscles even a little, it throbbed and hurt.Day 1 after surgery- If my chest muscles moved even a little, it throbbed and hurt- Every time I got up from bed, I naturally made a >< face- The inframammary incision and accessory breast tissue removal areas hurt with a really numb, tingling ache.- It hurt and swelled less than I expected, so I was like, huh, this is okay?- My appetite was also so good that I ate duck meat lololololDay 2 after surgery - In terms of setup, development, crisis, climax, the swelling was about at the “crisis” stage; it felt like my nipples were about to launch?- Rather than pain, the swelling + pressure from the compression garment made it insanely uncomfortable - The start of indigestion (I guess this is why they tell you not to eat greasy, salty, or spicy food after surgery) I regretted eating the duck meatDay 3 after surgery- Swelling at its peak; my breasts swelled so much I wondered, are they going to split open??- I tried going for a walk, but it was so hard, and I couldn’t walk with my chest open. My back rounded on its own. I think overdoing the walk that day actually made me swell more…- At night, the breast expansion became serious. Combined with the pressure from the compression garment, I had trouble breathing. I called my younger sister who lives nearby and had her loosen the compression garment by one row of hooks… If I had been alone, it could have been bad…- I don’t normally have constipation, but after surgery I hadn’t had a bowel movement even once, so in the morning my stomach hurt terribly, like my intestines were cramping. - My belly swelled like a pregnant woman’s, my collarbone line disappeared, and I drank the prune juice the hospital gave me and forced myself to goDay 4 after surgery (today)- The pain changed from constant throbbing > to intermittent zapping - The discomfort when lying down and getting up from bed improved- The swelling went down compared to the day before, but suddenly my breasts and armpits are so numb and tingly that it’s driving me crazy. It almost feels like I ate hot pot through my chest.- The day before, I walked like a grandma, but now I can walk with a normal stride and walking speed.- I’m having bowel movements well too, and especially I’ve started urinating a lot- Since I can’t wash above the surgical area, sebum has built up and acne is starting to come up- If the day before I looked full-term pregnant, now my belly looks about 6 months pregnant- My collarbones still don’t showOverall, it doesn’t hurt as much as I worried it would right after surgery, and it feels more like major discomfort from swelling and pressure? At first, there was no sensation in my breasts, but as time passes and sensation comes back, the pain seems to change from heaviness, throbbing > sharpness, zapping, and it seems to come with numbness and tingling too.
