I wanted to improve my upturned outer eye corners and also improve the asymmetry, so I decided to get lateral and lower canthoplasty. I searched through reviews diligently, and it seemed like a clinic did a lot of canthoplasty procedures, so I had a consultation for dual canthoplasty with Director Kim Jae-yoon and had the surgery.
Honestly, before getting lateral and lower canthoplasty, I had high expectations that my eyes would open up a lot like in the review photos and that the before-and-after change would be really big. But once I actually recovered, it didn’t feel dramatically different. Still, when I compare it with before the surgery, the outer corners that had been lifted definitely came down, and my overall eye shape became softer!
I’m now at 2 months, and I think it’s closer to a surgery where you feel “it’s definitely better than before” rather than “wow, it’s completely different.” I recommend it because it’s a surgery that can make you look naturally prettier without others noticing, at a reasonable cost!
