First nose surgery - silicone revision surgery - re-revision surgery with donated costal cartilage - it’s been about 3 years since I had it done with donated costal cartilage. I was so dissatisfied with the nose shape after the previous surgery, so now I’m satisfied enough that the columella isn’t drooping. But recently, I’ve been getting some boogers, and I notice a strong smell from my nose, like the smell of rotten fish? So when I clean my nose with a wet wipe, it gets better... Could this be a side effect of donated costal cartilage, or could it be symptoms like rhinitis? I read posts saying donated costal cartilage gets absorbed and becomes smaller and things like that, so I’m really worried, wondering if side effects always happen Has anyone experienced symptoms like mine?
