Nose Surgery Reviews

2-week review after my first rhinoplasty

My nose wasn’t originally extremely low, but the bridge was much lower compared to the nasal tip, so I was always bothered that my face looked flat overall.🥲 When taking photos, I felt like my face lacked dimension and looked wide and flat, so I started considering rhinoplasty. I found out about RU Plastic Surgery after looking through Instagram, YouTube, community posts, and plastic surgery app reviews. Looking at the reviews, the results generally didn’t look artificial and had a natural feel, which matched my taste well. Since it was my first rhinoplasty, I wanted it to be done sturdily in one go, so the fact that the clinic was known for using autologous costal cartilage well was also one of the reasons I chose it 😊 During my consultation with Director Kim Hyun-joo, we decided to reduce the bulbous-nose look, use silicone for the nasal bridge, and use autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip. Rather than an overly flashy nose, I wanted a direction that would naturally suit my face, and I trusted her because she understood that part well. I’m now 2 weeks post-op, and the swelling is going down much faster than I expected. I was worried that autologous costal cartilage would hurt a lot, but from day 4, I barely had any pain. It hasn’t fully settled yet, but compared with before, I can see that the bridge and tip have been naturally refined, so I’m satisfied✨ I want to try doing my makeup properly soon haha!
