3-month review after bulbous nose surgery + alar reduction

It has already been 3 months since I had bulbous nose surgery and alar reduction performed by Director Kim Da-alm at Oblie Plastic Surgery. The biggest reason I first started considering bulbous nose surgery was because my low, blunt-looking nose was a complex of mine. In particular, I was always bothered by the way it looked spread out like a bulbous nose when I smiled, as well as my wide nostrils/alar base. That said, I did not want rhinoplasty that looked too obvious, and I strongly wanted an improvement that would naturally suit my face. The biggest reason I chose Oblie Plastic Surgery was the trust I felt during the consultation process. What I liked about the consultation with Director Kim Da-alm was that instead of simply saying, “If you do this, you’ll look prettier,” he explained my facial structure and the issues with my nose one by one, and discussed specifically which parts would be improved and how. In particular, being able to check the before-and-after appearance in advance through 3D simulation helped me a lot in making my decision, and I also liked that the implant that suited me could be designed directly. Because I could see the changed appearance based on my own face rather than just imagining it vaguely, my anxiety about the surgery was reduced a lot. I used ear cartilage, septal cartilage, and a custom implant, and as of the 3-month mark, as time goes by, my nose feels more and more like a part of my face, and it is settling in so naturally that I almost do not think of it as having been operated on. It will still take a little more time until the completely final result, but I am already satisfied enough with the current condition, and I am looking forward to how it will look going forward. I think Oblie Plastic Surgery and Director Kim Da-alm are the place and doctor who fulfilled all three things I considered most important while thinking about nose surgery: naturalness, a trustworthy consultation, and postoperative care. I would personally like to recommend them to those who are concerned about a bulbous nose or wide alar base, especially those who want an improvement that suits their own face rather than an excessive change.
