Revision: silicone + autologous costal cartilage + bulbous nose + short nose My original nose looked short because the nasal bridge and nasal tip were not balanced. We decided to bring out the nasal bridge while correcting the bulbous look and asymmetry as much as possible. They showed me a Photoshopped preview, and it looked natural. @I did NOT request a specific director. When I registered for the consultation, I showed them the review photos I had looked at and said I liked a natural look, so they scheduled me with the shorter director.
Review: Not too narrow or too wide/spread out. It has a moderate width, so I think it’s okay. The clinic said it would settle more, but it already looks fine now, so I can’t really feel what they mean by it settling more. Since I used autologous costal cartilage, I had a calcification test, and because they did testing first and consultation afterward, I valued the safety aspect highly. They are really serious about setting the design. It feels like they care more than me, the actual surgery patient(?). They also check the progress very carefully. I count that as a plus, but if you’re someone like me who gets the autologous costal cartilage warranty benefit, you may find it annoying because you have to go for frequent follow-ups. The shape is similar to the Photoshop preview, but my glabella area was so low before that the Photoshop photo honestly wasn’t that pretty, so I think the actual result is just better. Looking at it like this, the bulbous nose look really has reduced quite a lot..
