They say the nose is the center of the face, but I barely had a nasal bridge and my nasal tip was low too. There was no three-dimensional definition, and it was just a hopeless bulbous nose, so it stressed me out; I thought maybe my impression would improve if at least my nose looked a bit better, so I decided to get surgery. But if I suddenly put a straight celebrity-like nose on my face, I thought even I would feel awkward looking at my own face. So I decided to make it as natural as possible, and the place I found on my own was this clinic. I brought a few review photos and went to see Director Yoon Seok-ho, and he said my skin was on the tight side and that using autologous costal cartilage would probably be good. The aftercare also seemed well organized, so I thought I should just use my own cartilage and went ahead with the surgery. For the nasal bridge, I used a custom implant. They said it is made in 3D to fit my nose, so it is safe, so I used that. I usually had discomfort breathing, so I added rhinitis surgery too. (After getting rhinitis surgery, my breathing definitely improved.) What I feel now is that I’m glad I had nose surgery. My impression changed for the better, and I feel like I look a bit neater. My confidence in my appearance has gone up compared with before too, and people I know ask if I lost weight and say the surgery seems to have gone well, so I’m satisfied.
