Before/after As I reached my mid-60s, my skin elasticity decreased and the fat under my eyes was not neatly arranged, so I was debating whether to get lower blepharoplasty. My daughter said she was getting under-eye fat repositioning, so we visited a plastic surgery clinic together. After hearing the kind consultation manager’s explanation, I scheduled the surgery date. On the day of surgery, I was informed about what to follow after surgery, was prescribed anti-inflammatory medication, and then proceeded with the surgery. After surgery, I iced the area whenever I had time and drank pumpkin juice. I did ice packs, and when the surgical area turned yellowish, I used warm compresses, but I think the temperature was too high while doing the warm compress. Small blisters formed under my eyes, and I was worried they might scar, so I called the hospital. They quickly scheduled a consultation and resolved the issue. So now the scars have disappeared cleanly, and the messy fat that made me look silly when I smiled has been tidied up, so I’m very satisfied.
