Before and after after after. Before I got any older, I decided to try surgery and went through with it after making a big decision. As you can see in the photos, because of the deep, dark tear troughs under the inner corners of my eyes, I always looked hollow and tired. It was stressful that I always looked older than my friends, so I really wanted a very clean-looking impression. And especially because my friends around me also said under-eye fat repositioning heals faster when you are younger and turns out prettier, and told me to hurry up and do it, I couldn’t put it off any longer.
I went to many places in Sinsa and Apgujeong that were said to be good at eye surgery, and among them, the place where the conversation flowed the best and felt right was this clinic.
Just having that one trough gone makes me look so clean.. And maybe because I did lower blepharoplasty together, the under-eye area looks clean and even my bare face looks brighter, so I really like it. I did swell a lot after surgery, but the bruising in my right eye was severe, so honestly I had a really hard time emotionally.
The swelling was worst on day 3 after surgery, but that gradually got better as time passed.. The swelling that moved down toward the cheekbone area took longer to go down than I expected. Probably around 2–3 weeks. I think it bothered me.
Fortunately, now the hard swelling has gone down a lot and the surgical scars have faded a lot too. And I used to go around without makeup because it was bothersome, but these days I’m having fun dressing up, so I’ve been putting on makeup very diligently. I guess cosmetic surgery really is a battle against time. ^^
