I had double eyelid surgery with an incisional method 10 years ago, but over time the crease became so thin that it was almost like an inner double eyelid, and in photos my eyes looked extremely uneven. I couldn’t cover it even with makeup, so I eventually decided to have revision surgery, and I went to a total of 7 clinics just for consultations. After consulting at several places, some clinics tried to make the line very high or strongly recommended excessive epicanthoplasty, but at Eye Contact I felt that they took a very conservative approach overall. They explained one by one why this approach would be best based on the condition of my eyes, which made me trust them, and the director was generally calm and kind as well. After surgery, I was surprised because there was almost no swelling or bruising, and my recovery was much faster than I expected. Especially for the epicanthoplasty, it was so unnoticeable that people around me all said it turned out very naturally, so I was highly satisfied. Since it was revision surgery, I had a lot of worries, but in the end, my uneven eyes improved a lot without looking excessive, so I feel less stressed about taking photos. I’m excited to try different makeup styles from now on!
