It hasn’t even been a month yet, so writing a review might look like I’m making a huge fuss...^^ But I’m leaving this record on purpose because I want to look back and see how it is at one month and at six months. When I had my first surgery, I really knew absolutely nothing about plastic surgery and just went ahead with it. Back then, I thought it would be enough just to change from monolids to double eyelids. Maybe because I didn’t really research properly before getting surgery, my eyes ended up literally just having a line. My eyes didn’t get bigger.. and they weren’t symmetrical either.. They looked subtly sharp, but basically just had a line drawn across them lol At first, I went around for revision consultations to fix the symmetry, and there were many places that just said, “Yes, you can just have it corrected again with an incision.” But Director Bㅊㅇ suddenly told me I should also get a forehead lift, so I was surprised. At first I was like, huh? Why a forehead lift? But after hearing the explanation, I immediately understood why he recommended it.. I’m not sure if it shows well in the photo, but I wanted to raise the line a little more and correct the symmetry, and the distance between my eyes <> eyebrows was on the narrow side. Also, because I was opening my eyes relying only on eyebrow strength, I looked sleepy and my eyes looked a bit compressed (?), and the director said that if I wanted to change my eyes into the look I wanted, the best method would be ptosis correction together with a forehead lift. After hearing the explanation, I understood why my eye area usually got tired so quickly, and I also had severe headaches around my eyebrows. I was told a forehead lift would improve that, so I had the surgeries together. And when I was going around for consultations, I deliberately chose based on experience, and maybe because of that, the director explained things incredibly thoroughly. He kept explaining persistently until I understood...^^ At first, I felt like he was explaining even very minor details, but thinking about it now, I think that’s probably why I was able to go into surgery without any doubts. After surgery, of course I was really worried about swelling, bruising, and pain. Until days 2–3, the swelling suddenly got worse and then suddenly went down.. After that, it has stayed like the post-op photo. Since I had an incision, plus ptosis correction and a forehead lift, expecting all the swelling to disappear in just one week would be shameless, so no.. Still, people around me say the swelling is really minimal for this stage and that it’s surprising. Even to me, it seems less swollen than after my first surgery. Fortunately, there wasn’t much pain, and aside from my eyes feeling heavy when I woke up and getting eye discharge often, I was okay! And even considering the swelling, the line is higher than after my first surgery, but doesn’t the ratio between the eyebrows <> eyes look okay..? I’m relieved because if I had done the surgery without a forehead lift, I think my eyes would have looked even more buried The swelling is still going down, so I’ll have to keep watching the line, but I’m relieved that from the early stage, I seem to be recovering well without any signs of it going badly.. Everyone, make sure to go somewhere that looks at revision surgery consultations in detail, and find a director who is obsessive about symmetry!! After a month or two, once a lot of the swelling goes down, I’ll write another review.
