I’m not exactly sure when I had it done, but one thing I know for sure is that it was right before mask-wearing started. That’s because after it came undone, I wanted to go back, but it was the period when we had to wear masks for a long time, so I couldn’t go. That part I know for sure. Anyway, I had it done at a large hospital, and before the consultation started they took a photo with a headband on so only my face showed, and then they discussed it with the doctor, so I had some trust. It seemed professional. After that, I decided on the surgery, and up until the surgery itself it was fine, but about 9 months later the front part came undone, so I had to open my eyes by straining them. The other side is fine. But both sides still feel like the skin sagging didn’t improve. It still feels droopy. / As an aside, about a week after I had it done, a friend had it done at almost the same time, and theirs was relatively successful. / The difference between the two is that they didn’t have skin sagging, and from what I could tell, their surgery seemed easier, while in my case I had worn double eyelid tape a lot, so there was skin sagging and I already had a double fold in the front. It might be good to keep that in mind.
