Doctor kindness / consultation professionalism: First of all, the doctor is very chic and quiet, but what’s interesting is that answers to questions and things like that are given in detail. I’m kind of used(?) to chicness, so it was okay for me, but from the perspective of people who shrink back or feel uncomfortable in front of that kind of person, they might feel the doctor is unfriendly?? For me, more than that, the certainty and professionalism when answering questions stood out more. Staff kindness: I gave this 4 stars, but it’s about 3.7..? Somehow, the consultation manager was the best at acting kind, and honestly the other staff didn’t have that great an attitude.. If it weren’t for the consultation manager, I would have given 2. In the consultation manager’s case, until before surgery, she was kind during consultations and when I messaged to ask things I was curious about (she was kind except on the day of surgery). Just, really on the day of surgery all the staff were unfriendly But I don’t really care much about kindness and things like that as long as they do my eyes well, so it was fine. Hospital facilities: They moved recently, so it’s better. I went for consultation at the previous hospital and had surgery at the moved hospital, so I saw both, and the interior is upscale and overall clean. Surgery expectations: This is hmm, I gave 5, but honestly I’m not sure because I had surgery yesterday. To explain the process: 1) Changed clothes 2) Brief talk with the consultation manager 3) Brief talk with the doctor in the consultation room 4) Entered the operating room and had an IV placed (preparing for anesthesia) 5) Doctor came in and did the design?? for about 15 minutes 6) As soon as the design ended, the staff came in and it was suddenly anesthesia (I just passed out immediately) 7) Woke up and surgery was done First of all, what was good was that the doctor spent at least 15 minutes just on the design time.. It took so long that I was honestly flustered. They checked about 4 times while I was lying down and sitting up, and kept drawing things above my eyes to check. To begin with, I went to 5-6 places just for consultations, and the reason I chose here was that kind of meticulousness? Even though I only had buried-suture double eyelid surgery, I liked the fact that they designed it this carefully. Extra: I don’t know if this is good or bad, but after surgery on the right eye, they moved to the left eye, and I thought it had finally ended, but they told me to open my eyes, checked, and said the right eye was done too high, so they undid it all and redid it. But after that, they checked both sides again and said the end of the left eye had come undone, so they undid it again and stitched it again... So in conclusion, it was like I had surgery twice.. Enduring it was so scary, but I thought of it as them being meticulous and put up with it..! In conclusion, I think the line came out with good symmetry. What wasn’t great was 1) The staff kindness I mentioned earlier (but from my perspective this was really okay) 2) I have a fear of injections.. As I said in the process above, before the design they placed an injection in my arm, and a nurse inserted it in my right arm, then said the blood vessel burst, and just pushed it right in next to that spot, but the blood vessels there also all burst, so in the end another staff member (an older person) did it in the other arm.. In conclusion, as someone with a phobia, I got injections in my arms 3-4 times.. Looking at it now, there’s a huge bruise mark where the blood vessel burst on the right side... Because of that, I was sweating all over and the fear before surgery was intense.. 3) After surgery, the recovery room was somewhere like a chair, and they just put me in that room without any explanation and left.. If my mom hadn’t come, checked on me, and asked a staff member, I think I would have stayed there half-blind wondering how long and how I was supposed to be there But well.. as long as the surgery went well, that’s enough..
