Hello! It has already been a month since I had revision surgery. I had my first double eyelid surgery in my early 20s through an acquaintance’s recommendation, but as I was turning 30, one eyelid line kept coming undone and reappearing, which was really bothering me. I was extremely stressed because of the fatigue I felt every time I opened my eyes and because the line looked different every morning. In the end, after much thought, I decided to undergo revision surgery before it got any later. Since it was a revision surgery, I really wanted to finish it without failure this time, so I carefully went around for consultations. My criteria were exactly two things. 1. A natural result that would not differ greatly from my existing image 2. A place with extensive revision surgery experience and no overtreatment During my consultation at Grida Plastic Surgery, Director Kim Hyun-soo looked at my eyes and honestly told me, “They are already quite fine as they are.” Usually, clinics tend to recommend this and that, but I immediately trusted him because he clearly pointed out the parts that were unnecessary. However, I had already made up my mind when I went there, so I strongly expressed to the director that I wanted revision surgery, and after sufficient discussion, we decided to proceed. Since I had to return to work quickly, I chose natural adhesion instead of an incision method, and while I was at it, I also had upper epicanthoplasty for my own satisfaction. What I am most satisfied with is that the lifting of the eyelashes on my left eye, which had bothered me after my first surgery, also improved a lot through this revision surgery. It has only been 1 month, so there is still some swelling, but the line looks so natural, without an artificial feel, as if these were originally my eyes, so I feel happy every time I look in the mirror. Since my eyes look more defined, my overall impression looks much clearer too, so I kind of wish I had done it sooner~
