After rhinoplasty, a foreign material that appears to be mesh/Medpor protruded ㅡㅡ

(This post was written based on the “rights of consumers” guaranteed by our Constitution and the Framework Act on Consumers, and I state that I have no intention whatsoever to defame the medical institution below, beyond the purpose of sharing information and helping other patients. Hoping there will be no victims like me, and for the public interest, I will describe what happened at that hospital based on objective facts without falsehood, so that prospective patients do not suffer the same harm as I did.) I had revision rhinoplasty twice, and 11 months later, while showering and blowing my nose, a hard foreign object broke through the inner wall inside my nose and came out broken. Part of it is still embedded in my nose, and I am in a situation where my entire nose must be opened again to remove the foreign material inside. As for current signs of inflammation and contracture, I will only know accurately after receiving a diagnosis from a university hospital, but they say that if it continues to be left like this, since the foreign material has already pierced through the inner nasal wall and is lodged inside the nose, I am greatly exposed to tissue damage and bacterial infection, so it would not be strange if inflammation occurred at any time. I will get straight to the point without saying too much. A foreign material that was not agreed upon before surgery and that I had never heard of or seen, which can cause side effects, came out from inside my nose. I clearly did not receive any explanation about any materials other than donated costal cartilage + ear cartilage + silicone. After seeking advice from several places, many said it appears to be Medpor/mesh, and regarding the foreign material, whether it is mesh or Medpor, everything will be revealed if it goes to litigation, and the evidence is still embedded inside my nose. How could the surgeon who performed the final surgery, not just once but twice, not know what this material is? Surgeon’s answer: It is not Medpor. However, there is a possibility it is mesh. But it is not written in the surgical record. Reply to the certified letter: We cannot comply with your demands premised on Medpor having been used in the procedure. I state that this post is not false information or an exaggerated defamatory post, but an actual review of what I personally experienced.
