Breast Surgery Reviews

3 months after breast surgery, it’s super comfortable now

I had surgery at the end of May, so it’s now been three months. Starting with the scars, the left side is still quite dark, but on the right side only the line is dark. When the doctor checked my postoperative progress, they said this is when the scars are at their darkest, and that the scars are fading well, so I shouldn’t worry. So I’m feeling reassured. I had a bit more put into the right side, and the swelling definitely went down more slowly on the right. When I touched them, the left side felt really soft, while the right still felt a bit firm, but after three months that has almost evened out too. As for activities, lifting heavy things is no problem. But doing chest workouts with weights still feels like a bit too much. I tried doing push-ups too, but there was some discomfort, so I’m not doing them for now. Lat pulldowns also feel a bit uncomfortable, but I’m doing other back exercises without any problem. As for stretching, as long as it’s not excessive, I can now do chest stretches comfortably too. Sleeping on my stomach isn’t uncomfortable either. The only thing is, randomly, when I lie on my side, sometimes I feel something moving and sometimes I don’t, but I don’t really mind and I’m sleeping on my side just fine. Other than that, in daily life I honestly don’t feel anything at all, to the point that I forget I had breast surgery. Of course I don’t regret it, people around me say it turned out well, and I’m satisfied too. I can really feel the progress getting better day by day now. Small movements that I couldn’t do before because they hurt or felt uncomfortable—for example, at first even putting on tight clothes was hard, and taking them off was really difficult, but now that’s nothing haha I can put on and take off tight sports bras just fine too. I was told I could wear underwire bras too, but since my size got bigger, I don’t feel the need for underwire, so I’m only wearing seamless bras. If I don’t even want to wear seamless bras, I can just use nipple patches, so that’s really comfortable. The good thing about nipple patches is that they don’t make back fat stand out, which I love so much.. They’re seriously so comfortable when wearing summer clothes. When traveling too, I don’t need to pack bras to match my outfits; I just bring a few nipple patches and that’s it.. I often think I should’ve done it sooner. If everyone is debating it, I honestly absolutely recommend it.
