Three years ago, I had revision double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty together, but the epicanthoplasty was done too excessively, so after thinking about it for a long time, I decided to have epicanthoplasty restoration surgery. Since it is the inner corner of the eye, I was naturally concerned about scarring, so I looked into hospitals very, very carefully. I checked several hospitals, and Dr. Kim Geun-sik at Gangnam Mate Plastic Surgery was the most meticulous, and because he examined things so delicately, I trusted him. I had micro-restoration of the epicanthoplasty, improvement of excessive lacrimal caruncle exposure, and restoration of the aegyo-sal hollowing all together. First of all, the surgery went exactly the way I wanted, and I also worked really hard on aftercare exactly as the hospital instructed. It has been a little over 2 months now, and there is almost no scar; when I wear makeup, even I can barely see it. At first, I hesitated because it was too expensive, but looking at the result, not a single penny feels wasted. These days, I enjoy looking in the mirror! Since I know how stressful it is when epicanthoplasty is overdone, I really want to recommend epicanthoplasty restoration surgery. Thanks to Dr. Kim Geun-sik, who is extremely meticulous and attentive, and the kind manager, it was a decision I do not regret!
