About a year after my first rhinoplasty, my nose became noticeably and severely crooked, so I thought I needed surgery again and had revision rhinoplasty.. Since the first surgery was done with donated costal cartilage, this time autologous costal cartilage was the only option for revision surgery, so I worried a lot During the consultation, the director carefully explained everything about possible side effects, scars, pain, and swelling.. and also explained in detail how the surgical materials would be used, so I think I trusted him and lay down for surgery.. Honestly, they say explanations about which area will be incised and how much… are things everyone explains, but I liked that he gave me enough room and time so I could interrupt and ask questions in the middle I heard there are many hospitals that change what they say after surgery, but thankfully here, I heard I can also get skin injections as part of postoperative care, so there won’t be issues like sudden sebum flare-ups or care becoming a mess. When the splint was removed, it looked like my eyes were pulled slightly close together? but as the swelling went down, it quickly settled back into place. There is still a little residual swelling, but the nasal tip also came out with a soft shape, so I’m satisfied with the shape too
