Time seems to have gone by faster than I expected. At first I wondered when I’d be able to meet my friends, but now the swelling has gone down quite a bit. Hehe... Even to me, the side profile is a work of art. My parents made such a fuss. My dad is especially so happy about it. lolol From the front, it looks like before surgery. My cheeks were originally on the chubby side, so the angles didn’t stand out much from the front, and right now, because of the swelling, I don’t really feel much change. Once the swelling goes down, I’ll be able to see a slimmer line, right... hehe... And while doing the jaw surgery, they removed cheek fat and put it into the nasolabial folds. (They did this for free. ^^) So once the swelling goes down more, my cheeks should get even slimmer too. (Excited.. excited..^^) My mouth opens enough for most things to go in, and except for meat, I can generally eat almost everything, so I’m really happy. The joy of eating really is...^^ They said that until 3 months after surgery, there won’t be much difference because there is residual swelling and it’s the period when the area around the cut bone thickens. I think it’ll take at least 3 months for the facial line to show properly. I’m hoping spring comes quickly. Hehe...
