Breast Surgery Reviews

Finally, my breast augmentation surgery review (day of surgery to day 7)

Finally, I’m writing my own breast surgery review!!! As of day 10, I’m very, very satisfied so far.[Before surgery – implant & clinic choice]Honestly, I had both a vague aversion to breast surgery and a longing for full breasts that weren’t sagging. These two feelings coexisted for several years. I had been doing weight training for over 3 years to relieve the anger that built up at work, soI lost fat and gained lots of muscle… My upper body gradually became an even leaner, muscular type.(My body information)> Height 160 / weight fluctuates between 50–55 kg> Small rib cage, short upper body and long lower body, square shoulders> Breasts were a small A cupAfter years of only thinking about it, one day, as if possessed, I booked 3 consultations in a single day.I went to three large clinics… and honestly, I was a bit disappointed. Even though I emphasized naturalness, the sizes recommended to me were all on the heavy and large side (around 380 cc), and I barely felt like they were explaining things with my body type in mind.Still, I got a rough standard, and because I thought, “For this, studying comes before legwork,” I started gathering information again from scratch.I thought that if someone with a short upper body and only broad shoulders had watermelon-like breasts attached, it would be a minus both aesthetically and in daily life, soI boldly excluded anything over 300 cc.[Implant choice – why I decided on Motiva]At first, I considered Mentor Xtra because of the cost, but the more I looked into it, the more Motiva’s advantages stood out to me.The advantages of Motiva that I felt are as follows.1. The shell surface has a microtextured structure, so it feels more stable compared with Mentor2. The size spectrum is broad, so customized selection for body type is possible3. It can be inserted even with a short incision (of course, the surgeon’s skill is important)4. The chip version allows tracking and management5. It is a relatively newer implantAfter deciding on Motiva, this time I went for consultations mainly at breast-specialty clinics and clinics run by a single director. [Reasons I chose the clinic]In conclusion, there are five reasons I chose my current clinic1. They accurately understood my need for naturalness as the top priority  * Recommended Motiva Mini  * Explained why other sizes would be excessive based on simulation2. A breast-specialty clinic  * Many cases, and a well-organized aftercare system3. They suggested first the surgical method I had ideally had in mind  * Subfascial / inframammary fold incision / minimal 2–3 cm incision4. The atmosphere of the director & staff  * A very subjective standard where I think clinic atmosphere = results & aftercare5. I just had a gut feelingOn the spot, I decided right away on “Motiva Mini 245 cc / subfascial / inframammary fold incision”and even completed the booking!!![Day of surgery]I was curious “after counting how many seconds will I fall asleep,” so I counted up to 11 and blacked out, and when I opened my eyes, the director said the surgery went well and gave a pleased smile, so I felt relieved. In reviews, people say it feels like “an elephant is stepping on you,” but I got lucky and had no pain.I stopped by Kyobo Book Centre, looked at some books, took the subway, and went home. (It was possible because I avoided rush hour and it wasn’t crowded.)From that day on, I had rooibos tea + 2 packs of pumpkin juice every day, also struggled through the stretches the clinic taught me, and only felt a little stiff when getting out of bed; otherwise I was fine.[Post-op day 1]Rather than the breasts themselves hurting, I felt an indescribable tightness + pressure somewhere inside the upper torso.I believed the saying “all surgeries hurt more the next day,” took my medication, and it definitely improved. I took the subway to get aftercare, and even looked around Olive Young in Gangnam before coming back. [Post-op day 2]In the morning, I woke up to birdsong feeling refreshed and so completely fine that I was confused..?Is the director gifted, or am I just suited to surgery?I was on annual leave and had planned to rest at home, but in the end I went to a cafe with my laptop, and in the evening I met a friend for dinner. The stretching also went well without stiffness, like an eagle flapping its wings.※ I strictly followed the clinic’s precautions, such as no holding cats and no lifting heavy objects[Post-op day 3]Back to work! I believe no one knew I had surgery. In the afternoon I visited the clinic, had the tape removed, and nipple patches applied.I tried on the old bras I had at home, but it felt like my male cousin who wears 2XL trying on my leggings, so I quietly sent them to the trash can.[After post-op day 7]It felt like most of the major swelling went down by days 4–5, and from day 6 onward, there was almost no pain even when I pressed on my breasts.Because of my schedule, I had the stitches removed and received care on day 8, and from that day the feel changed dramatically.Especially from the sides and lower parts, I could feel softness, so I thought, can recovery really be this fast??I’ll also post a one-month update partly for my own records.
