It is now week 4 after zygoma pin removal surgery + 45-degree zygoma shaving surgery, and the major swelling has gone down, so I’m satisfied with how I currently look. People around me also compliment me, saying I lost weight, and I feel good because I look naturally prettier. In particular, when I smile, the zygomatic protrusion is reduced, so I can smile more confidently. It’s not a visible effect, but I’m also satisfied that the pins that felt uncomfortable before surgery are gone now, so even if I get an X-ray somewhere, no pins show! I think anyone who has pins will probably relate. What I was most worried about before surgery was possible aftereffects from general anesthesia, postoperative swelling, and the possibility of being dissatisfied if the effect was minimal, but I don’t have those worries now. The swelling was less than I expected, and although I felt a bit dizzy at first, I recovered quickly from the anesthesia and am very satisfied with the changes after surgery. The consultation staff also guided me kindly. Also, many plastic surgery directors often didn’t really understand my area of concern or missed the point, which was frustrating, but Director Kwon Soon-beom at Arc Plastic Surgery understood my concern area carefully, and even though I tend to ask a lot of questions, he provided sufficient consultation and customized treatment, so I’m satisfied. That’s why I also decided to get an additional consultation and surgery for another area I’m concerned about!
