Before surgery: My jawbone itself is relatively slim, but I tend to gain fat under my chin more easily than others and I also have a lot of neck wrinkles (kind of like YouTuber Ppoㄱm? My double chin was a bit worse than that person’s..). I even had acquaintances openly misunderstand and ask if I had contouring and got sagging as a side effect.. I didn’t have contouring though.. I went to 3 places for consultations, including Sinsang, and it’s definitely more accurate to check with ultrasound, even if you have to pay the examination fee.. Among the places I visited, only Sinsang checked my double chin with ultrasound, and it was nice because I could look at the monitor together and check the fat layer, salivary glands, and digastric muscle (neck muscle). For me, I have a bit more superficial fat than deep fat, and the platysma laxity is severe for my age.. They said this is highly likely to be genetic! This is also why I have a lot of neck wrinkles and why it looks saggy rather than simply like I gained fat under my chin.
