Review 1 month after upper blepharoplasty + under-eye fat repositioning in my 40s

As I entered my 40s, the first change I really felt was around my eyes~ Even with makeup, my eyes didn’t look defined, and as my upper eyelids gradually drooped, I often heard that I looked sleepy. Under my eyes, even when I wasn’t tired, I often felt like there was always a shadow~ Until my 30s, I just brushed it off thinking it was probably a condition issue, but once I got into my 40s, I clearly realized that wasn’t the case. As you can see from the pre-op photos, my double eyelid lines were almost hidden, and the strength when opening my eyes wasn’t like before. Under my eyes, rather than fat protruding, there was both hollowness and puffiness, so overall my impression looked older~ I had consultations at several places, but the consultation with Director Hwang In-seok at ㅇㅇㄷ was the most memorable. Maybe because he is an eye plastic surgery doctor with long experience, there was almost no unnecessary talk, and he calmly explained why upper blepharoplasty was needed for my eye condition and why fat repositioning, rather than simple removal, was the right approach for the under-eye area. What he said about the goal not being to make me look excessively young, but to tidy things up in a way that suits my current face, really resonated with me~ I had upper blepharoplasty and under-eye fat repositioning done together, and now I’m at 1 month post-op. Honestly, in the beginning there was swelling and my eyes felt a bit tight, so there were moments when I wondered if I had done it for nothing, but from around weeks 2 to 3, my eyes gradually became more comfortable, and now at 1 month, it feels like the lines have almost settled~ Looking at the post-op photos, the lines on my upper eyes that weren’t visible before have become clear again, and my eyes open much more refreshingly~ There is almost no artificial-looking double eyelid feel, and the under-eye areas that were puffy or hollow have been corrected without looking excessive, so overall I do look less tired~ But it doesn’t look like an impression deliberately made to look younger, so I think that part is even better~ Since it’s still only 1 month, I’m spending my days thinking it will become even more natural from here.
